Family: Wife—Sherree Sevar. We met at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Forth Worth, TX, while I was a student there. We have two sons—Zach who is nineteen and Ethan who is sixteen.

Education: I graduated from East Texas Baptist University with a BA degree in Religion and minor in Psychology and Church Careers in 1980. I graduated with an MDIV at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1985.
