Frequently Asked Question
How do I get there?
We are conveniently located on N.E. Stallings, the loop that circumvents Nacogdoches, between University and Appleby Sand. You can find a map of our location here.
Where do I go when I get there?
Once you have arrived, you may enter through any doors into the church. If this is your first time, we recommend you come through the south main doors so that our greeters will ready to welcome you!
Where do my children go?
Calvary has a ministry for everyone. Our experienced childcare staff take care of your children while you are immersed in services and bible studies. The children's wing is located towards the back of the church. All ages are accomodated from newborns to three-year olds. Children ages 4 - 7 can be involved in Calvary Kids Church after they worship alongside their parents during the 11:00 am service.
What do I wear?
We want you to be comfortable when you come through our doors. If that means a pair of jeans and a polo half-sleeve, you will still feel at home with us.
Can I meet the pastor?
Absolutely! Pastor Sevar looks forward to visiting with all our visitors. He can be found at the front lobby of the sanctuary immediately following the Sunday services. You may also call the church for a visit anytime during the week.
I don't own a bible, do I need to get one before I come?
We have bibles available for use during your time at Calvary. We ask that you please leave them in the church so that they may be available to others. If you need guidance in getting a bible of your own, we can definitely help you! Don't hesitate to ask any staff member!
