My Hero: My Father

One of My Greatest Experiences with God: During Spring Break of 2000, a friend and I went to the Arkansas river to camp out.  We had several major decisions to make in our lives and we were compelled to get in a tent and to begin a season of prayer and fasting. Going into the third day of seeking God’s face, the Holy Spirit began to fill the tent around 1:00am.  With clarity he spoke to my heart his will in my life. I couldn’t stay in the tent anymore.  I busted out of the tent and began running around the camp site with laughter, shouting and joy.  I know the Campers around us thought we were crazy or drunk but I was filled with divine determination and direction from God.  That weekend I met my wife. Praise be to the King.

Most People Don’t Know This About Me: Every time I preach I get nervous.
